This was originally written for whole class year 7 singing as another way to remember rhythm notation. The lyrics are not supposed to be taken seriously!
Despite being an apostate, I yet prefer the traditional Christmas carols that celebrate the birth of the Savior, rather than the ubiquitous and hideous jingles about Santa, elves, sleighs, chestnuts, snowmen, &c. This is an attempt to create a traditional carol in the old style.
