by Boismortier (arr. Mikio Kamada, Ph.D. of ACORDO Sheet Music)
Joseph Bodin de Boismortier (1689-1755) was a French baroque composer. This piece is one of six sonatas Op.7 originally written for three fransverse flutes. It consists of four movements, 1. Allemande, Moderement, 2. Legerement, 3. Lentement, and 4. Gigue. Very rich polyphony in 2nd movement and moving Lentement with glory. Enjoyable to play with not so high skill in technique.
