by Johann Strauss (arr. Klas Krantz of AMADEUS - Great Classics & Guitar)
This catchy piece would probably be the perfect encore for a classical guitar concert.
Johann Strauss II (in German: Johann Strauß (Sohn), "Johann Strauss (son)"; in English also Johann Strauss the Younger, Johann Strauss Jr., Johann Sebastian Strauss) (October 25, 1825 – June 3, 1899) was an Austrian composer known especially for his waltzes, such as The Blue Danube. I´m a 47 years old musician and musicologist from Sweden. The instruments I arrange and compose for reflects much of my own musical background and taste. I´m basically trained as a classical guitarist but I also play: flute, recorder, tin whistle, piano, mandolin, ukelele. I love the great classics like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven; but also early modern music like Debussy, Ravel, Milhaude, Hindemith and Stravinsky. I also have a soft spot for jazz and swedish and irish folk music.
