 I am based in Birmingham, UK and write primarily for the saxophone, as I am a saxophonist. All of my pieces have been publicly performed and some have been recorded and broadcast. Although some of my pieces may seem technically demanding, I write with performance in mind. My music is also used by students and teachers and several of my works now appear in several examination syllabuses (ABRSM,GSMD,Trinity). I am currently publishing my own and other saxophonists’ works via Saxtet Publications.
I'm the musical director of the National Saxophone Choir of Great Britain in which I also play the soprillo, the tiniest of saxes created by Benedikt Eppelsheim. My CD 'Soprillogy' is the world's first recording dedicated to music for the Soprillo saxophone.
