As indicated by its title (Râga), this piece is somehow influenced by Indian traditional music. There is a static harmonic basis (based on the G string mainly) and on top of that, several instruments exchanging ideas, answering to each other. Since the interpret must do all this with a single viola, this piece is technically challenging but any good violist should be able to play it.
