An Easter festival arrangement of this wonderful old Hymn for full orchestra.
There are two alternative endings - one for choir, extending the final verse with "Christ is Risen " and "Alleluia" as a Coda - and an ordinary ending for congregational use.
The third/final verse shifts up a tone, to D, and the verses are seperated by two bar 'breath' interludes.
