This is the transcription of a track on my first CD, "Mackinac Summer" which features tracks that are inspired by various sights on Mackinac Island in Michigan. The old French church on the island is Ste Anne, and so this piece used the hymn tune "St Anne" in a Bach-like prelude arrangement. This also works on guitar in the key of G and on organ (in any key, heh).

"Away in a Manger (English Tune)" is a set of variations on the lovely English melody used with this text. There is some challenge for the pianist to keep the 2-voice accompaniment quiet underneath the melody, but the effect is worth the effort!
