This piece is a piano reduction, arrangement of my Concertino for Oboe d'amore and string orchestra. The oboe part should be played in the style of a Scottish bag pipe, performed with all the panache of a highland reel.

I wrote this Sonata for Tuba in F in response to players telling me, that there are not enough lyrical solo pieces written for the instrument. It is in three movements of contrasting mood and difficulty. I have not written a virtuoso piece, but I hope I have been able to test out the soloist in the different sections and keys.
