Nathan Friedman

Living in Kamloops, Canada

Nathan Friedman was born in East York, Ontario (now part of Toronto) in 1989. He currently resides in Kamloops, British Columbia, where he attends South Kamloops Secondary School. He first started composing in April of 2002, when he began his Piano Sonata in D minor. He is now in an experimental period of his artisitc development. His current works tend towards polystylism, with romantic, serial and other elements. His current projects are a mode catalogue with associated pieces, according to his theory of mode cycles, settings of Nostradamus in the original Old French and Provençal, and revamping his Piano Sonata in D minor to reach his current level of understanding of the classical style.
