Catharine Eastman has been involved in choral music since childhood. She began composing songs (in Music Construction Set, no less!) based on the poetry of a good friend in high school. She took a year of formal music theory in college, and has set several traditional worship texts to music, many of which have been performed by the Christ Church Portola Valley Woodside chancel choir. She has also worked with other genres of music. As a recent Sibelius convert, earlier compositions will be added to this page over time. Meanwhile, please visit her regular home page to obtain PDF and MIDI files of earlier works. If you choose to perform any of her compositions, she'd love to have a recording!
