Paul is a professional musician, composer, teacher and very active within the field of education, across all standards. (Live in Halifax Lightcliffe Brighouse) He lectures part time at Leeds Music College teaching piano and composition. As a professional musician within the jazz genre, he was runner up in the Perrier jazz musician of the year awards back in 1999.

Composing music extensively within both jazz and classical fields. A Trilogy of piano books, Practical Pianoforte 1, 2 & 3 are published, as well as a book of graded piano pieces. (Grades 1-3) An anthology containing every piano piece he has composed has now been released. In the classic field composing numerous solo, ensemble, choral works, and music for the BBC young artist forum.
