Suppe's overtures are always popular with players and audiences so here is his 'Poet & Peasant' Overture, slightly abbreviated, for your Saxophone Quartet. Something for all the players here which would go well in a concert or as background music. If it is popular, I intend to arrange his 'Light Cavalry' Overture next.
