Concerto for Trumpets and Timpani - sextet (of the same instrument) by J. E. Altenburg arr. Kevin Paul
Johann Ernst Altenburg's Concerto for Trumpets and Timpani arranged for Youth Trumpet Ensemble. The original 7 trumpet parts have been reduced to 6, and more equal distribution has been given to both choirs throughout. The key has been lowered and a few rhythms altered to make this accessible (but still true to the original) for high school and very well-prepared middle school trumpet sections. I arranged this for a middle school, so I know it is possible and fun to teach. 600.00T
