Some very sympathetic orchestration
I enjoyed listening to this and playing the guitar along with Scorch! It had sympathetic orchestration and some misty moments! I particularly liked the introductory bars which had some open voicings in guitar style and made it hold together stylistically. Your estimation of the grade level is probably about right from a guitarist's standpoint. I would say possibly easier, although bars 34-41 presented some very challenging stretches for average hands! The A flat in bar 37(doubled in strings)causes a particularly uncomfortable moment and it is likewise difficult to maintain the high D as a minim and execute the semiquaver run smoothly. Bar 41 similarly presents with either a five fret stretch and barre if played in first position or playing in 3rd position which for most players would necessitate releasing F to obtain B flat on string 6 with little finger to avoid over stretching with fingers 2 and 3. I liked the short cadenza and the allegretto. They were fun to play! I found myself wanting to hear some nice resonant bass notes from the guitar in the E minor section, but appreciate that you kept it light in the other instruments too so that's just me liking my bass notes! Overall a very enjoyable piece to listen to.
