The Monkey-See, Monkey-Do Canon (2008) - mixed ensemble by Daniel Laubacher
This piece was written for classroom music at an international school for children between the ages of 6 and 9. There are three melodies, between each of which there are the same eight-bar percussion sections (instruments are flexible). Following this there is the actual canon using the three melodies with some percussion accompanyment. There is a simple piano part/guitar repeating the chords C-F-D-G-(C).
