I have often sat all alone, in the large sofa chair in my parent's study and felt the warm summer sunlight flooding through the large French windows on to my face. I have tried to evoke this pleasant tranquility in this piano piece. I hope the performer hears what I heard, on those lovely long, languid, summer days, so many years ago. in my parent's house in the highlands of Scotland. There is also an easier version for (grades 3 - 4).
