Although she would not admit it, she is a highly cultured young woman who is interested in the arts, theatre, 'high to low brow' music, and everthing in life. This Light orchestral piece is dedicated to my friend Carol Linton a published internet poet. Although she would not admit it, she is a highly cultured young woman who is interested in the arts, theatre, 'high to low brow' music, and everthing in life. Carol is a beautiful woman who has a zest for life that is infectuous to others who are her friends. I am proud to have her as my special friend, and now consider her as my adopted 'sister'. In this light tone poem, I have tried to represent the fun and femininity of Carol. I imagine her putting on her makeup in the morning then going out shopping in the high street, which she loves doing. Carol uses up so much energy that she needs a lot of sleep, so that is why I sometimes call her 'Goldielocks' (Subtitle). You will enjoy meeting Carol in sound and imagine her as I do. She is my lovely, special friend.
