I love Chopin's music, and felt arranging as a solo doesn't always do this complex music justice, so I chose to arrange this mazurka for guitar duet in the Julian Bream and John Williams tradition. Although guitar 1 has some high notes it is not too difficult to play and the chord part for guitar 2 is pretty easy.There are TAB parts available too! If anyone needs more of a techical challenge I am happy to redo this in F#m, but a middle section in F# major presents challenges enough without the h... (more)

I love Chopin's music, and felt arranging as a solo doesn't always do this complex music justice, so I chose to arrange this mazurka for guitar duet in the Julian Bream and John Williams tradition. Although guitar 1 has some high notes it is not too difficult to play and the chord part for guitar 2 is pretty easy.There are TAB parts available too! If anyone needs more of a techical challenge I am happy to redo this in F#m, but a middle section in F# major presents challenges enough without the high range having to be played without a cutaway! The bass notes have extended time values for sustain and tone's sake as they would be pedalled in the piano version anyway!
