Missing a little something
A nice piece straight forward and pleasant. However between 2nd ending and B a little instrumental counterpoint or solo bantering to create a little suspense, even a tention key change, before the build up at B would have added some color to a rather straight forward song.
When I listen to it part B seems too soon without a reason to build. I think a little instrumental solo banter back and forth to add some soul is needed to add drama. Especially if it was down low in the baritone, slow and dramatic with the upper horns playing the beat or ocassional rythm accents.
I like the song, I just think it could be a little more interesting with this addition, somehow. Then B would be the release and the theme would be the comfort.
