The Messiah (2002) - string quartet/quintet by Jim Paterson
This was my first attempt to write music synchronised to film, as my entry to the Mario Nascimbene Award 2002. It was very much a learning experience, not least overcoming synchronisation problems to the video material (The Arrest and Trial of Christ from Roberto Rossellini's "Il Messia" originally scored by Nascimbene) and the extreme time pressures.
