Ragtime for Bedtime (1999) - solo instrument by Jim Paterson
This is a little piano rag in the traditional style. Excuse the title if it is not very grammatical.

A good tune
In my mid teens I struggled to play rags with my grade 4ish ability. Apart from one or two long-time greats, this piece seems as good as many of the rags that were on offer at about 2/- in the early 1950s.
People ask on the chat boards, what do you need to do to get good reviews. I think the answer is here - have the ability to hear good tunes in your head.
