Greek Dance (1999) - solo instrument by Jim Paterson
This piece uses two thematic impressions of traditional Greek music. Firstly there is a theme based on an East Mediterranean scale accompanied by a simple bass line similar to that used by Eric Satie in his piano works. Then there is the concrasting section using the "gradually getting faster and faster" form of Greek Dance.
