Overture "The Marriage of Figaro" arr for Clainet Quartet (2000) - clarinet choir by W A Mozart arr. Rodney Parker (Dorset Wind Music)

Here is the complete overture for Clarinet Quartet as a compliment to the saxophone version which is also on the site. I have transposed it into Bb Major to make it more manageable for Clarinets. I've set the metronome at 120 on the score but the ability of your group will dictate the speed best suited to you. Its a good blow!

My clarinet quartet just started rehearsing this piece and we love it. It is a great arrangement for clarinet quartet of the overture to The Marriage of Figaro. It's a great work out for any clarinet player. Great Job.

What a great reduction for clarinet quartet of Mozart's Overture ''The Marriage of Figaro''! Rodney Parker's transcrioption captures the essence of the music, with startling beauty, with the shift of key helping with the fingering. This piece offers a 'great blow' for all clarinet quartets, and would make a fantastic item for a concert!
