Suite for Bassoon (2001) - solo instrument & piano by Laurence Hughes
Four fairly light-hearted short pieces in a 'jazzy' style based (loosely!) on themes from Bach's 'Well-Tempered Clavier', commissioned in 2001 by David Clover. The accompaniment is for keyboard, with guitar symbols too, so that guitar and bass can be used if wished.

Wonderful little pieces
Just love these pieces. A great mix of Bach and jazz. An ideal recital piece for professionals and students. Top value for a few bucks. Keep up the good work!
Good news for bassoonists
Ha! I like these pieces, full of wit and humour - yet the Bach is never too far away. I might argue with the difficulty rating - moderate could well be an understatement with the last two movements in particular. Very enjoyable.
