Out of God's Love (2000) - solo instrument & piano by David Benning

In this score, I substituted the strings for the synth. which we actually used in our live performance last year. Believe it or not, we're actually getting this one recorded! But regardless, I hope that you find the words and music to be a blessing because God's love is cool and refreshing, warm and bright! (If you want the separate parts, let me know & I'll post them.....)

Stunning
I have listened to this piece on numerous occasions and have to confess that at first I thought it a little tepid, but it's not, the piece is simply stunning. David keeps it simple and captivating throughout with the simple flute counter melody adding only more beauty. Listening to the performance on the mp3 certainly makes all the difference. A beautiful performance. Congratulations David and thankyou for your music.

A wonderful piece!
This is really a wonderful piece that grows with each listen, - it gets better every time one listens to it! This piece will be a welcome and much appreciated number to be performed in any church. Print it out, musicians!

Simply Marvelous!
I believe this piece flowed really well, and it sounds like the type of music my church would sing/play on a sunday morning. The melody is perfect, and the added synth is a nicer touch then strings. Also, when listening to the song, I take time and think about the words, which I think is really important for a piece like this. Very simple, free flowing melody, but like I said above, Simply Marvelous!

And, God's so satisfied!
Praising God is wonderful, and doing it with so much passion and sincerity, like Mr. Benning does, could only fill God's ears with so much joy!! This song is wonderful, and the mp3 contributes even more to the sheer beauty of the composition - especially the lyrics. It's just so nice to actually hear the words instead of imagining it! And yes, the lyrics are very well written. It could even be a poem on it's own! First of all: I love the combination of strings, piano, flute and voice. I need to add no more compliments as it speaks for itself. The melody is amazingly flowing, and the counter-melodies in the other voices lift the main melody to a very high level of experience. I especially love the modulation in M.31 where the regular repeat gets a new meaning in this song. I love the way it builds a climax that satisfies the ear so well. All in all - a very enjoyable song, well thought through lyrics, and wonderful instrumentation - a wonderful and worthwhile experience. I hope that I will have the opportunity to sing this soon! Well done Mr. Benning, and thank you for making God happy!
