Peppermint Tree (1981) - big band by Sammy Nestico (Sammy Nestico Music)
PEPPERMINT TREE
Not much room for dynamic variation here. Although it moves along, play it ?smoothly? with 8th notes sounding long rather than short. The ?attitude? is similar to playing a television Commercial, with steady rhythm and good balance, but not much dynamic range. Drummer must use his part only as a guide, with a strong approach.
