After You've Gone (1916) - big band by Sammy Nestico (Sammy Nestico Music)

AFTER YOU?VE GONE
Very ?laid-back? and easy for the first chorus. Use Guitar, Piano or your choice of instruments for the jazz sections. Drums should build up a bar before the ensemble at 61. The ensemble should be BIG!! From 75 to the end should be very light for a large contrast.

Great Arrangement
I donīt care who wrote the song. Everybody knows its an old song improved upon by Sammy Nestico. All the musicians that I know enjoy playing the charts written by Mr Nestico. I am a retired military musician (USAF) and live/teach/play in Mexico. There are no charts available here, so everything we play is either arranged by us or downloaded through Sibelius. Thanks, Mr Nestico. Bill Muntz

After You've Gone
Mr. Nestico is in my humble opinion one of the greatest arrangers in jazz history. I am sure that he has his reasons for credting himself on this particular score and I am certain that he is aware of not only it's origins but also the people that have recorded it before...he's probably done arrangements for most of them! Mr. Nestico brings magic and joy to every score he writes and the to the people that are fortunate enough to get to play them. BRAVO Sammy for yet another brilliant chart. I can highly recommend any Sammy Nestico composition or arrangement. Cheers! Andy Firth
