Be thou my vision (2001) - choir (with or without keyboard) by Richard Hill
This piece is typical of my choral style and was written for my Church choir on the 125th anniversary of my Church.
The music is approachable by both amateurs and professionals and can form part of a church service.

For those who need more variety
I am old enough to know about Sankey’s Sacred Songs and Solos. Of several hundred items, very few survive in use. Nevertheless, each was probably sung by a congregation somewhere. Similarly, an item like this must have a rightful place. I doubt that it will catch on nation-wide, or be remembered in twenty years time. But it may provide variety for some churches, although the choice is now becoming overwhelming.
Nice To Hear
This tuneful piece is full of warmth, should be very singable, and is cast in a familiar contemporary style that will please most congregations.
