This romantic piece was inspired by the film, 'The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone.' It is about a rich American widow in her early fifties who is introduced to an Italian gigolo while on an extended vacation in Rome. This handsome young man, in his late twenties, seduces her, and pretends to love her, but all he is interested in is her money.
