Malta, for narrator and piano - ENGLISH version (2005) (2005) - solo instrument & piano by Mark Feezell, Ph.D. (DrFeezell.com)
Malta is a lyrical, dramatic, accessible melodrama for narrator and piano about an episode in the life of Paul. While being taken to Rome to stand trial, Paul and his fellow prisoners were shipwrecked on the island of Malta, where a serpent sank its fangs into Paul's arms. Paul shakes the serpent off into the fire, and suffers no ill effects. In many respects, Malta is also a metaphor for the journey each of us must travel through this world.
