I have already been privileged to collaborate with Dragana Petkovi and Biljana Krsti, from Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, in producing Piano Exercises & Pieces for the Elementary Music School. We have been delighted with the response which a number of solos and duets from this book of teaching pieces has already received at PRB Music, and we are now adding to this with a further selection, this time by Biljana, which makes use of the excellent colour facilities in Sibelius 3.

We've called the pieces Colour Pieces, and they should be used in conjunction with the free chart available.This is only a small part of Biljana's new project, but gives a flavour of what it's all about. We recognise that not eveyone is sold on the idea of using colour in initial teaching, but Biljana has certainly found it effective with those young beginners in her care.
