The Orchestra Effect was written as a composition project by the Glen Este Middle School 2005 8th Grade Orchestra class. All students had a part in composing the song. Orchestra director Scott Morgan arranged the various ideas submitted by the students.
This song had its world premier performance during their spring concert which took place at 7:00 p.m. on May 18, 2005 in the Glen Este Performing Arts Center located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
