The Grass Grows Greener (2004) - choir (with or without keyboard) by Anders Edenroth (The Real Group Score Store)

Even though the actual notes are not too complicated, the song needs some practising in order to get the right swing. The rhytmic responsibility is shared among the parts, and is different from section to section. Practise in a lower tempo to begin with and you will soon master it.

Love It!
I loved it in the first few measures! I listened all the way through and think most audiences would enjoy it also. The cute text helps also. I read the other reviews and would have to agree, it would make a great piano piece too. And yes, many choirs, including mine, are rhythm-challenged, so this would be quite difficult to learn, but I think it would be worth the effort and imagine what they would learn along the way. We may just try this come Spring. Berni

My opinion
So the piece is unique because of bass solo through the whole song. And its rhythm is kind of Charleston alike. That are the main two reasons I like this song.

Good...as a piano solo
I'm really note sure how this would work with an SATB choir. This would be an incredibly challenging piece and again, there's some very low bass notes! All yoru SATB pieces follow a similar style: They are very clever but far too complex. I know some people will disagree with me, but I can imagine even the most experienced choirs having trouble with parts of this. Still, I loved listening to the piece. I think it would be a great idea to do a piano score, as I would love to play it!
