The Birth of Christ (Tennyson) (2002) - piano & vocal by Nicholas Palmer
This poem is actually taken from two parts of a longer poem by Alfred Tennyson. I found it in a mostly schmarmy Christmas book and liked the poem very much. The last verse seemed so different from the first two, I was wondering what Tennyson was up to, but it turns out that the editor of the Christmas book took snippets from two poems and put them together.
