Wedding March - brass quartet/quintet by Felix Mendelssohn arr. Jerry Lanning

The famous Wedding March from Mendelssohn's 'Midsummer Night's Dream' music. Essential repertoire for ... well, weddings, of course! It's not difficult to play, and has a fine sonority. Horn in Eb, Trombone in Bb, Bass in Eb and Bass in Bb parts are provided as alternatives for brass band players.

An abridged blast into married bliss
Now that you can get married almost anywhere in the UK, a non-organ version of the Weddding March is a must. Personally, I would prefer to use a string quartet, but why not a wind-band. The only problem I would see is making sure that the pp passages are observed. But if you want to be blasted off into nuptuality... It does seem that the work is not only arranged, but also abridged.
