"The Seasons as I remember" (for SATB Choir, Piano) (2006) - choir (with or without keyboard) by Daniel Laubacher
"The Seasons as I remember" was written for the Choir of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). It is dedicated to all "Children of Conflict around the World". The text typifies the four seasons through the eyes of children who have lost the memories of their childhoods through the horrors and realities of the war-torn regions in which they live. The music has an optimism but not without its dark moments.
