Andante Cantabile for String Orchestra (arr. String Quintet No. 2) (2004) - string orchestra by David Stybr

Commentary by Left Brain vs. Right Brain. LB: "Originally composed in Washington DC in May 2004, this Andante Cantabile was arranged from the slow movement of my String Quintet No. 2 in March 2006. Although very effective as scored for 5 solo strings, the romantic expression is further heightened by a full string orchestra." RB: "Oh don't give me that baloney. You just think it's such a darn good piece that it deserves to be heard twice -- the 2nd time really loud!" LB:(more)
