GRATIAS op123 for 4 celli (2006) - quartet (of the same instrument) by Dmitri N. Smirnov
This piece originated from the 5th movement of my Mass op 105, "Gratias agimus tibi" that spells the name of Alfred Schnittke (1934-1998). That movement was composed on 6th of August 1997, when Schnittke was still alive, but later it was rewritten as a dedication to his memory. Here is the version made on 30th of March 2006.
