My Op 17, was written in 1979 for the choir of Bishop Grosseteste College but was not performed publicly. The lyrics are based on a prayer from St Swithun's prayer book with additional lyrics from myself. It was intended to be both powerful and joyful, but although it is very melodic the tessitura is wide.
