"The Lovers' luck", incidental music - string orchestra by Thomas Tollett arr. Christopher Shaw
Incidental theatre suite. Conceived for strings, but also suitable for wind or brass bands. Of Thomas Tollett little is known. He may have been Irish, having links with the Dublin town band. Some theatre music survives (mainly in manuscript), and he composed a Farewell performed at the funeral of Queen Mary (Henry Purcell's music being the best known contribution for that occasion).
