Sonatina for Oboe and Bassoon or Trombone (1970) - mixed ensemble by Sy Brandon
A slow introduction gives way to a spritely allegro in the first movement with lots of syncopation. An allegretto in mainly 5/8 with a lot of imitation creates contrast in the second movement. The allegro final movement is rhythmic and playful with a short recapitulation of the first movement's slow introduction.
