Welcome! This is an online music shop with printable (not downloadable) music for pieces composed or arranged by Maria Ljungdahl, Sweden. Use the browser plugin Scorch to view, listen and print the music! Some of the scores are free to print out direct on your own printer after you have viewed the music on the web page, and some are printable directly after you have purchased the right to print a copy (through PayPal checkout).

Entry in the SibeliusMusic Members' Competition April 2003. All participants wrote music to the same text. My choice was to use a string quartet and a SATB choir. Contact me for parts, if you want to perform the piece. A revised version, maybe with another text, is planned....

The composer

I have been interested in writing my own music since I was very young (5 or 6 years old) and was encouraged by my first piano teacher, Greta Westfelt. I studied musicology at the universities in Gothenburg and in Stockholm, and I also have a background from science, IT and engineering studies. Most of my pieces of music can be purchased online as printouts of sheet music (in Scorch or PDF format). I write, arrange and make demo tracks of classical, modern classical, jazz, folk, electronic and pop music.

When you view a music score with Scorch on this site, you have the option to print out the sheet music of the song or instrumental piece. Some of the scores are free - just click the printer icon! Other scores can be printed after purchasing a copy of the score or the instrumental parts through the site (which uses PayPal). For best result, first check that your printer is loaded with quality paper and that the ink or toner cartridges are in good condition.
